Part time Music Teacher (KS3)

About Us:

CBS, The British School of Seville, is an esteemed educational institution committed to delivering top-tier British education in a dynamic and supportive environment. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis, specifically to teach Key Stage 3 students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Music lessons to KS3 students.
• Inspire students to develop their musical skills and appreciation through a variety of activities and performances.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Music curriculum and integrate it with broader school activities.
• Participate in extracurricular music activities and events, contributing to the cultural life of the school.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: A degree in Music or a related field, along with a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).
• Experience: Previous experience teaching Music at the KS3 level is highly desirable.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, the ability to inspire and motivate students, and proficiency in a range of musical instruments or vocal techniques.
• Language: Proficiency in English is essential.
• Availability: Part-time position with flexible hours.
