Colegio Británico de Sevilla (CBS) is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Part-Time Science Teacher to teach students across Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9).
We are looking for a passionate educator who can inspire curiosity, encourage scientific thinking, and deliver engaging lessons that foster a love of learning in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in accordance with the British Curriculum.
- Create an engaging and supportive learning environment that promotes academic success.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning and development.
- Participate in school meetings, events, and professional development activities as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related subject.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 level.
- Excellent subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable
- Experience teaching within the British Curriculum.
- Previous experience in an international school setting.
- Ability to contribute to extracurricular STEM activities and projects.
